    Group visits

    Upgraded tours

    Engage your audience with a special Museum experience! Join upgraded, curator-led tours as well as entertaining options for groups of all sizes. Learn more about hosting an event, then reach out to explore how to bring your ideas to life.

    The Museum’s close family of Corporate Members enjoys exciting benefits, including the opportunity to host up to 30 employees for exclusive in-person tours and receptions or virtual curator tours. Corporate Members also receive discounts on tours, among many other perks. To join, contact 718.501.6326 or corporate.relations@brooklynmuseum.org.

    Rescheduling and canceling

    You may change your tour time once with no fees, up to one week prior to the date of your scheduled tour, by emailing grouptours@brooklynmuseum.org. If you need to change your date again, you will be charged a fee.

    You may cancel your tour for a full refund up to two weeks in advance of your scheduled date, or for a partial refund up to one week in advance of your scheduled date. Any cancellations less than one week prior to the scheduled date will not be eligible for a refund. To cancel your tour, email grouptours@brooklynmuseum.org.

    Third-party tours

    The Brooklyn Museum does not allow third parties to lead groups through the galleries. Any unauthorized lecturers will be asked to end their tours.

    Public tours

    Experience art the Brooklyn way! The Brooklyn Museum offers free, short drop-in tours most afternoons. Join an A.R.T. Guide—trained volunteers who are passionate about art and the conversations it encourages—to learn about featured exhibitions and favorite artworks. Or browse the calendar to see upcoming artist- and curator-led walk-throughs. The Museum also offers a range of accessible tours and tours in languages other than English.

    Access tours

    Take part in a range of accessible tours, including verbal-description tours and tours in American Sign Language.

    Scent tours

    Smell your way through exhibitions during these occasional aroma-based tours.
