University Membership

The University Membership program connects colleges and universities with the Brooklyn Museum’s vast resources. In turn, it provides the Museum with vital operating support that helps to create inspiring encounters with art, expanding the ways we see ourselves, the world, and its possibilities.

Participating colleges and universities receive complimentary general admission for all students, faculty, and staff—as well as unparalleled access to the Museum’s encyclopedic collection and libraries.

    The perks

    • Access to trailblazing ideas and canon-building art

Education is in the Brooklyn Museum’s DNA. The Museum’s world-class art historians, curators, conservators, designers, archivists, and educators are leading voices in their respective fields. They welcome the opportunity to engage with students and faculty through tailored tours, internship opportunities, and public programs.

    • Free self-guided gallery visits for classes

Our collections and galleries are available to University Members as a resource for classes and to augment coursework.

    • Opportunity to host an event
