      Visiting tips

      • Before your visit

        We know it’s not your first rodeo. But in case you need a refresher, review how to buy tickets, check bags, find bathrooms, grab a bite—that kind of thing.

      • Reserve tickets

        We strongly recommend reserving tickets in advance. Walk-up tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

      • Lose your card?

        It happens. Email us at membership@brooklynmuseum.org with your full name and mailing address. A $5 replacement fee covers printing, processing, and shipping.

      • When you arrive

        If you reserved a Member ticket online, make your way to the ticketed exhibition. A staff member will scan your ticket at the exhibition entrance.

        If you reserved a general admission ticket online, make your way to a gallery entrance and present the ticket to a staff member.

      • How many Member tickets can I reserve?

        Your Membership level determines how many complimentary tickets you are entitled to per visit, as outlined below. If you’d like to bring more guests than your Membership level allows, you can purchase additional full-price timed tickets when reserving or upgrade your Membership to a level that includes additional complimentary tickets. Note that additional guest tickets cannot be purchased for Member Mornings.

        • Individual: 1 adult ticket per visit

        • Dual: 2 adult tickets and 4 child tickets per visit

        • Insider: 2 adult tickets and 4 child tickets per visit

        • Trendsetter: 4 adult tickets and 4 child tickets per visit

        • Groundbreaker: 6 adult tickets and 4 child tickets per visit
