    Wheelchairs

    The building and grounds, including the parking lot, are wheelchair accessible, as is the Eastern Parkway–Brooklyn Museum subway station (2/3). Manually operated wheelchairs and folding stools are available for free at Coat Check in the first floor lobby. Visitors are invited to use these resources while in the Museum. There is seating in most galleries.

    Elevators

    The Museum has two sets of elevators. In the front lobby, a single elevator runs from the first floor to the fifth floor (with no stops on the second floor). A second elevator is located at the back of the Museum (past the Café and adjacent to the Education Center). This elevator runs from the first floor to the fifth floor.
