Contemporary Art Committee

Put your passion for contemporary art into action.

The Contemporary Art Committee is a vibrant community of art patrons, collectors, and enthusiasts dedicated to advancing bold new art at the Brooklyn Museum. As a member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our Contemporary Art collection and exhibitions—helping us share groundbreaking ideas and works with the public.

Throughout the year, you’ll join curators for exclusive studio visits in Brooklyn and beyond, gaining behind-the-scenes access to artists’ creative processes. At the committee’s annual meeting, you’ll vote on acquisitions and exhibition support, directly strengthening our collection and advancing the Museum’s role as a platform for the voices of our time.
