Fall Fête: Monet and Venice and Seydou Keïta

Journey from Italy to Mali as we celebrate the opening of Monet and Venice and Seydou Keïta: A Tactile Lens. This special evening features live music, artist activations, and late-night access to the galleries.

Don’t miss DJ sets by Amber Valentine and Sabine Blaizin, music by kora player Mahrïama-SpicyKhasso, and dance and drum performances presented in partnership with the Cumbe Center for African and Diaspora Dance. The lineup also includes drag artist Dollar Slice and soprano Kristin Renee Young accompanied by Julius Abrahams. Plus, enjoy artist-created photo booths inspired by Monet’s and Keïta’s work, along with a specialty cocktail and food from neighborhood staples Cafe Rue Dix and Gnocchi on 9th.

Advance tickets are $30 and include after-hours access to Monet and Venice, Seydou Keïta: A Tactile Lens, and Oliver Jeffers: Life at Sea (last entry: 10 pm to the galleries, 10:30 pm to the Museum). Tickets at the door are $40. Member tickets are $25. Not a Member? Join today!
