Teen Pop-Up TalksGalleriesVisit the third, fourth, and fifth floors to learn about works in the Egyptian galleries, Decorative Arts and Design galleries, and Toward Joy: New Frameworks for American Art. These conversations are led by the Museum Apprentices and repeated every 15 minutes.4:30–7 pm
Art-making and foodEducation Center or Lobby, 1st FloorTake your pick! Head to the lobby to enjoy snacks, work on a collage, and check out teen organizations around the city. Visit the Education Center to upcycle sneakers into planters with artist Monika Anne Cunningham (sessions at 4:30 pm and 5:15 pm; space is limited).6–7 pm
Panel discussion and raffleLobby, 1st FloorClose out the evening with a panel discussion on the intersection of art and sports with NHL player and artist Jacob Trouba, ESPN Films’ Tara Nadolny, and Ruth Jurgensen and Sabrina Greig of the NBA Foundation. Panelists will share their creative processes and inspirations in a powerful conversation moderated by BkM Teens. Plus, enter a raffle to win exciting prizes!
