ASL Tour: Breaking the Mold

Saturday, June 21, 2–4 pm

Visitors from the D/deaf community are invited to experience Breaking the Mold: Brooklyn Museum at 200 in an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, led by a Deaf teaching artist. After a brief meet-and-greet, explore the evolution of the Brooklyn Museum from a small library to the encyclopedic institution it is today. Discover both legendary masterpieces and cutting-edge contemporary works, and take an inside look at the Museum’s architectural history.

Free; registration is required.

This tour is designed for the d/Deaf community in ASL only, without voice interpretation. If you are an ASL student, email access@brooklynmuseum.org for more information about ASL student tours for those at level 3 or above.
