ASL Tour: Everyday Rebellions

Saturday, January 24, 2026, 2–4 pm

Visitors from the D/deaf community are invited to experience Everyday Rebellions: Collection Conversations on an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, led by a Deaf teaching artist. After a brief meet-and-greet, unpack how contemporary artists infuse daily life with mindful gestures of creative defiance. View new acquisitions in conversation with rarely seen collection objects, from Chinese porcelain to Auguste Rodin’s The Burghers of Calais. After the tour, head to the studio to create art that incorporates your own ideas about rebellion, rewriting familiar stories, and reimagining resistance.

Free; registration is required.
