ArtXchange
Join a vibrant community of K–12 visual art educators from across the city in a program designed to bolster each other’s teaching practices. ArtXchange is a forum for art teachers to share and explore ideas about teaching, make art, and learn from contemporary artists. During five sessions, you’ll cultivate a supportive professional community, deepen your studio practice, and explore the intersections of art, education, and cultural equity.
ArtXchange is an opportunity to change your teaching practice forever. But don’t take it from us—check out what past participants had to say about the program.
By applying for the ArtXchange program, you are required to:
Attend all five ArtXchange sessions, held in person at the Brooklyn Museum once per month on Thursday evenings from January through May
Visit the Museum with a class at least once during the school year
Exchange ideas about arts education in an open and supportive environment
The deadline to apply for the 2024–25 program was November 18, 2024. Stay tuned for updates on the next one!
